Creating with metal was initially just a creative outlet for me. I quickly discovered that crafting tangible, functional pieces of art was extremely fulfilling. My parents, both artists, instilled in me a love for the arts from an early age so it felt natural to peruse a career as a creative. After completing a business degree in college, I opted to pursue metalsmithing and gemology, attending GIA where I obtained certifications as a jeweler and gemologist. Hattie Rose Co. was established in 2020, and since then, I have had the opportunity to create some very special pieces. My passion for handcrafting accessories that fight fast-fashion, stand the test of time, and grow more beautiful with age is the driving force behind my work. Each item is meticulously created using traditional metalworking techniques and fine materials. I take pride not only in the finished product, but in the process involved in crafting each item.
